Daily routine
Nido and the children’s house are open from 7.30 am to 5 pm. All groups are all-day groups. The children are given breakfast and a cooked lunch, which is followed by a lunchtime rest. An afternoon snack of fresh fruit is provided, and all our meals are made using local, organically certified ingredients.
In the classrooms, the children use individualised Montessori teaching materials and other educational resources, and are supported by their teachers. Children can choose freely from Montessori and other learning materials which stimulate all their senses. These are designed in such a way that they need to be used thoughtfully – firstly to develop fine motor and sensory skills, and secondly to train cognitive and aesthetic perception.
Every day, a shared circle and a group activity are offered. The children play in our large outdoor area in the morning and afternoon. They regularly visit parks, museums and other nearby places of learning.
